SMP-1750 was a two-channel HF radio transceiver for voice and
CW, developed between 1958 and
1962 by Ateliers de Montages Electriques (AME) in Paris (France).
The device was intended for portable use under tropical conditions.
In the early 1960s, it was used by the French Special Forces (SF)
in the North African war theatre, in particular in Morocco, Algeria and Tunesia.
