One of the best examples of a wooden case is created by Fred Knight in the UK.
Fred is an ex-woodwork teacher so it was no problem for him to create
combed joints, just like the Germans did on the original Enigma case.
He used some old pine wood panels for the top, bottom and the rest of the case.
As you can see, he also used white LEDs on the lamp panel.
