ANTSEC 2001
Two-dimensional mobile voice scrambler - this page is a stub

ANTSEC-2001 was a frequency and time domain voice scrambler, also known as an F/T scrambler or two-dimensional scrambler, developed around 1984 by Teltron GmbH in München (Germany), and sold by ANT as a rebatched OEM product. It is a clone of the Telsy TDS-2004M.

The image on the right shows the ANTSEC-2001 is it was published in Jane's Military Communications catalogue of 1986 [1]. The device is functionally identical to the Teltron TVC-9000, but has a slightly different front panel. It is possible however, that the photograph shows an early prototype of 1983 and that the actual device was slightly different when it was released in 1984.

Crypto Museum does not have an ANTSEC-2001 in its collection, but since it is identical to the Teltron TVC-9000, we refer to our page about the TVC-9000 for further information.

The rackmount version of the ANTSEC-2001 is the ANTSEC-2002.
