Subminiature camera adapter
Although most Minox subminiature cameras have a lens with adjustable focus,
they cannot zoom-in on a subject in the distance, like with a zoom lens.
Instead, an adapter is available to allow the Minox to be attached to the lens
of a pair of binoculars or a telescope.

The Minox Binocular Attachment is a well-finished adapter that allows every
metal Minox subminiature camera to be mounted onto nearly every eye-piece.
The adapter consists of two major parts: a lens fitting and a camera fitting.
The camera fitting has a lock with the same shape as the latch of the
measuring chain. It allows the camera to be locked in place by rotating a
black rigged wheel.
The lens fitting can be opened and closed with a small metal rigged wheel,
allowing it to be attached to the eye piece of nearly every optical
instrument.

In the images below, the bare binocular attachment is shown, as well as
a Minox C camera mounted onto the eye piece of a pair
of Agfa binoculars.
In this case, the binolucar itself has been modified, so that it can be mounted on, say,
a Minox Tripod.
The shutter release cable of the Minox tripod can be mounted to the
binocular attachment, so that images can be taken without touching the
camera.
